ben_snclc Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Really easy one this. I have a jpg and want to link to an article. Usually with sites you can click on the link button and then point it at the content you want to go to like when you create a menu button and point to the article you want. However i think i have to manually put in the ?php..... the article number is 127. I know its probably easy peasy lemon squeezy but i'm having a lot of little durrrr problems until i get into the full swing of Joomla'ing.
rush_tech Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Where is this picture you want to put a link on? do you have a link?
ben_snclc Posted May 11, 2010 Author Posted May 11, 2010 I got round it by doing the following. A added a menu item and pointed this to the article i wanted. Then copied and pasted the link information from this and put it into the hyperlink on the picture using the hyperlink tool. It just seems a bit of a faff around doing this.
penfold Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Look at installing the JCE Administration add on. It allows you to configure more than the standard editor. Just remember to change it to the default editor in your joomla settings so the extra options show (yes, i forgot to do that and stayed confused )
