The file must be present at the location <\\****.uk\sysvol\local*****\Policies\{31B2F340-016D-11D2-945F-00C04FB984F9}\gpt.ini>. (Access is denied. ). Group Policy processing aborted.
MYK-IT Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 From memory this relates to the Default Domain Policy, we've had this problem on a couple of occassions over the years. I think we simply created a new blank gpt.ini within the relevant location containing the default values. A simple Google search will get all the information you require.
glennda Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 I had this yesterday, Download the DFSutil and then run dfsutil.exe /PurgeMupCache there is a support article here Userenv errors occur and events are logged after you apply Group Policy to computers that are running Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, or Windows 2000
