I want to deploy BitLocker onto our laptops when I perform the Windows 7 deployment to them. Has anybody done this with SCCM?

The problem I have at the moment is this... I have a task sequence which creates a system partition and a Windows partition. These are then named C: and D: leaving the optical drive as E: - something that my users will struggle to comprehend.

What I want to do is deploy Windows like the setup media does (with a hidden 100MB partition).

From my Internet readings, I've seen lots of people suffering from my problem with the standard task sequence operations and I've seen people changing the 'extra' drive letter to something like Q: or O: but I don't really like this option either.

Not done with with windows 7 and SCCM. None of our laptops have TMP and I dont want to use momory sticks for this. Truecrypt whole drive encryption instead. Sorry cant help much here.

Currently pulling my hair out with SCCM drivers packages here and 0x000007b on AMD laptops.

Found the solution for this (I think). I've discovered (purely by accident) that when you enable Bitlocker, Windows automagically does some drive shrinkage and creates the extra partition for you.

I am having to go through and initialise the TPM on each machine prior to running Bitlocker so I haven't tried it out via a task sequence yet but I'm guessing it will work. :)
