To get to Today's Posts I seem to have to click on Whats New and then I'm not allowed to click on Today's posts until 8 seconds have passed as forum reckons I've already done a search by clicking on what's new.

Or is there another (quicker way) of getting to Today's posts?

regards

Simon

Cheers for reporting, I never noticed it as admins on vbulletin dont/cant have search restrictions. I will have a think on what to do about it as you dont want duplicate items everywhere as such. I will add a link at somepoint soon to the forums tab as it has relevance there.

yeah happens here to but i think more if not logged in

It should be consistent for both as if I had a choice I would reduce the limit a lot for members.

I got this message today whilst going through my pm's - don't know if it's related to the same thing.

Nah thats there to prevent PM spamming pretty much. I take it you had just sent a PM before that error?

Any movement on this? I know I keep barking on about it, but "Today's Posts" is a feature I used a lot on the old system - the new way works fine, but that search delay is a nuisance.

I've had this same problem with it coming up with a search delay message when opening the homepage and then using the search button - does the homepage do a search in the background or something?

Thanks, Harlquinth.
