Yeah,

before you produce anything, click save as - then select Power point 2003.

This should deactivate any of the features not available in PPT 2003.

Alternatively if you opened a blank 2003 PPT file associated with PowerPoint 2007 that should also work. I would also recommend the 2007 Compatibility Pack for Office 2003 machines however.

If you save it in .ppt format, you'll make sure others can read it (same goes for installing the compatibility pack) but it doesn't mean to say that they'll see what you see.

 

This MS web page (also in the help file) shows you how you can check to see if you've done anything that's not going to work and also gives a list of the features that won't be supported in earlier versions.
