Modules background

Hi all

 

Ive changed the background on my site to a pale blue but the modules have a white rectangle behind them - how can i make it the same as my page background or transparent?

Can you post a link or a screenshot? Is the rectangle an image or something in the css?

The way the modules are written in the template is through CSS, I suggest you get a copy of firebug and figure out what settings need switching off...

 

it will most likely be "background-image: xyz" (sysman uses a light transition image at the top of the module boxes)

Kinda Hijacking the thread but I've got a similar problem. I downloaded the Jamba template but I would like to change the colours to something of my choosing. What settings should I be looking for as basically I want to change the modules background colour, but any settings I change dont seem to make any difference.

 

So if I just want to change the modules background colour, what it the code I should be looking for please?

In the css files of the template but there are many different module classes in that.

 

So what I recomendyou do is install firefox and the firebug addon. Then use the inspect elements option with it this will list all the css used in that element.

 

So if you click a module you can see where it's get the background color from.

Thanks, I finally found where it was picking up the colours from. It turns out it was an image rather than a background colour which was why I couldn't find it being set based on the colour code. I changed the colour of the image(a number of which makes up the module) and it worked a treat. I'm not sure if it is the best way to do, it but it might do what I'm after.
