What script is it that all the webhosts and other electronic providers seem to be using?

phpMyDirectory - Web Portal, Business Directory, Classifieds, Link Indexing

CS New Media Web Hosting - UK Based Web Hosting, Reseller Hosting, VPS & Dedicated Servers

http://www.xilo.net

All seem to have the same style and features in the my account side of things, so I'm thinking there the same cms/script but which one?

How do you mean?

We are not using any CMS on our website. Are you referring to the billing/client portal/order system?

Yesh :) the account bits of the sites all look similar (It's late)

I didn't catch this, but have now ;) but yes i have also used this in the past and it very very good! the new version has improved aswell.

As you can see though from looking at those websites, it does integrate nice.

What are you wanting to use it for out of interest?

Not an awful lot at the minute, just noticed alot of sites had the same sort of style in the backend but no indication of what script it was.

I might look at doing something in the future reselling hosting packages comes to mind. Especially with two of the domains I own (theblogging.biz and localhosting.org.uk).

Although thats only once I have a few things out of the way, and have skilled up a bit on the workings of plesk/cPanel etc.

Do companies that sell reseller packages, typically expect the resellers to deal with the support?

As a reseller it's your responsibility to look after your clients, but some providers (normally in the USA) offer "end user support" but it's usually outsourced to India. If there is something you are not sure of (as the reseller) you can contact your host to help, but you still need to relate the information to your clients.

If you don't have the time to support your clients, you would be best joining a hosting affiliate scheme.
