Just had an email from TechNet witha link to download the IE9 preview

 

Looks like its just a fancy app that has a web browser component to show off some new features.. :rolleyes:

I have opened EduGeek and FB from it and it seems to work okay, i logged into SunGlobalDesktop though it which uses Java and it seemed to cope with it okay, worked anyway.

 

Will have more of a play tomorrow :)

Also whats going on with no address bar?!

 

I dont know, my guess is that they have released this so you can see some of the features in the new version and test websites/pages and see how they look and how things respond.

 

I guess that in the final version or BETA you will get an Address Bar etc - i could not cope with pressing File > New everytime i wanted to visit a website lol
