I'm having a nightmare. I have an interview on tuesday that requires me to have the C1 category on my driving licence. I've had a driving job before that required this category and it's on my photo ID card, the problem is that I set my paper licence off a while ago and the've sent the paper part back without C1 on (why do they do this?).

Has anyone got a clue where I stand? I can't ring today as the DVLA is closed what stance do you think they'll take with me still having the photo card with the 'correct' categories on? I know of stories where if both have been changed that they won't replace them without you taking the test :(

I'd be bet that they have the info from your test, do you not have a copy of the slip you got when you passed your test? that isif you still get one. 25 years since I passed mine:( Just a admin error more than likley.

I just looked at mine and there doesn't appear to be classes on the paper section just on the plastic bit. Mine shows A, B, BE, B1 ,C1, C1E, D1, D1E and fklnp whatever that is?

That's the same as on my plastic licence, the paper section has a section called 'Provisional Entitlement' that's where they're listed it's the first box on mine.
