Which MSCE exam covers DFS

Anyone know which mcse covers Distributed File System?

In short - none of them cover it in the entireity.

 

As a guess, 291 and 293 should cover Networking, which did have some DFS in it but it all depends on what you are expecting.

 

Why exactly do you specifically want DFS?

As above but I think it's covered in 70-642 as well.

I'm not sure if you can, I haven't specifically seen any but that's not to say there aren't any - but as DFS is part of Server 200x, I'd imagine it would be covered in a bigger book on the server itself.

No, I've just done a search on Amazon and they don't stock a book covering the subject on it's own but as you say it will be covered in books about server 200* below are a few usefull links for you to peruse though. really its quite easy to setup though mate.

It's one of those subjects that's very poorly covered in any depth.

Yeah, I did a 5 day SBS 2008 course in London a few Months back, was told the exam was solid and ended up passing it with flying colours in the end.

I have just done both my 291 and 290, neither cover DFS in depth.

Have a play on a test box it's one of the easier services to setup.

DFS used to be covered fairly well in 215, but of course that's retired now. It's not really been picked up properly in any of the newer exams.
