gaz350 Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 With moving to a new building late this year, and anyone who knows about new buildings is they seriously lack storage space. or so that i can steal some of their space for my junk Looking for a hardware/software solution to simplfy Archiving our finance departments paperwork with the option of extending this to other areas of the college (i think PDF is a must). Anyone do this already and have any recommendations?
DriftGrant Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 I installed a Xerox Documate 515 at a customers yesterday and it scans pretty quick. Just get someone to sit and feed it documents 1
Disease Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 We use Fujitsu Fi-6130's here, we have 3 of them and they work like lightning. We store the documents on a Storage Server. 1
mossj Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 I had a cheap brother all in one at my old place... just plonk a pile of documents on top and it would scan each one as a PDF for you... 1
