alextreadwell Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Hi all we are looking to purchase 90 computers in the new financial year we have a budget around £400 per PC we don’t need monitors or licenses for the machines but we are also not that bothered if they come with licences. The only requirements are that they have a PCI Slot for the card we will be using in our power desks, they half to be half height as they have to fit in the power desks, we will need a 3 year warranty and we would like but not essential 4gb of ram, We will basically be going for the best spec PC we can get for the price you can quote!
FN-GM Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Are you using Volume Licencing? If so you will need an OEM Licence for each machine anyway.
Andycat Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 And I think you could easily get a 5 year on site warranty for that money too...

glennda Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Talk 2 stone, for the money u are willing 2 pay and quantity you'll no doubt be able 2 get pretty gd machines, we bort 220 last summer intel core 2 duo, 2gb ram for something like 270, but these are towers, but they will quote you on what you want.
localzuk Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Try Viglen - they beat my last Stone quote by about 30%... Although, they were all in one machines I was looking at, so they may be different. Other than that, try CPLTD - I'm sure Simon will be lurking somewhere here. 1
