Blocking Facebook by login

Personal questions guys, is it possible to block a facebook by a login?? I can block facebook completely but want it based on email address.

 

So you are logged into a win 7 laptop as user x, and i want user x to be able to login to facebook but when user y tries it fails or is blocked. Any ideas, im using windows live family safety for basic filtering , which is good but inst the most customizable.

 

Any ideas or trail software, i only want it for 4-6 weeks so i don't mind mucking about with trials!!

Do you want something directly on a computer or something to run on a proxy server?

A laptop, i have no control over the users internet connections

It is possible in AutoIT to do something very similar if not exactly what you're after.

Not quite as simple as i'd anticipated...

 

It is possible to check what is typed into the username on the field by hooking onto IE... however, if a daemon was to run on a laptop it'd be pretty slow... and it'd probably miss the input if they are quick typers and hit submit before the check fires (dependant on how quick they type and length inbetween each time it checks)

 

I don't use Facebook but presumably, like when you've logged into GMAIL it would alter the Window Title, for instance:

 

"Google Mail - Inbox - [email protected]"

 

I'm sure facebook has a title for this. It could be ran as a daemon to find the possible window titles it could have every few seconds, it would mean they could log in before it was closed & would need a lot of potential windows titles.

 

A sneakier way is to redirect facebook to a local website capture the e-mail address inputted and dependant on entry either send the request to FB to login, else window close itself/give error - that's probably a bit easier but a bit sneaky and underhand and potentially a way of getting a password too.

 

Not sure on who you're blocking it for but potentially unethical!
