Robz Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 For some inexplicable reason my LEA have BLOCKED a thread on edugeek! The thread "Schools UNblocking Social Network Sites?" on the blue skies forum is blocked because its a forum (no s:censored: ) but all the rest work?!?!?! Anyone else have this problem? or is it just my LEA having fits that its a discussion about unblocking facebook etc?
elsiegee40 Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Fine through RM SafetyNet - can you get into any of the p r o x y bypass threads?
Robz Posted February 11, 2010 Author Posted February 11, 2010 they are starting to get a tad overzealous! Every search result containing pro x y bypass is blocked, though if I navigate there independently it lets me on
pooley Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 If its anything like ours we had words like PROXY and FACEBOOK on a ban list and ISA would just drop the connection if the url contained those words, other words banned were logmein pron etc.
localzuk Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Phone is on our banned list... Made it lovely and easy to research phone systems
Robz Posted February 12, 2010 Author Posted February 12, 2010 I don't know what's on our banned list, I can still access facebook though
