Silverlight Deployment Script & Switches / Parameters

Hi,

 

I'm currently having to deploy Silverlight as a bit of an emergency.

 

I have no idea about scripting by the way.

 

I've set up the script in the deployment guide.

 

It calls;

 

': DeploySilverlight

start /wait %DeployServer%\%InstallerName%'

 

But when it does start up on boot it seems to take ages to get there and then needs input. I've tried adding /s to the end of that line with no success, it still comes up asking for a user to click install.

 

I just want an unattended install.

 

Do i need to add a parameter in the GPO with the startup script?

 

Sorry, pretty new to deployment through scripts.

Only on WSUS 3.0, i believe.

 

Ours is due to get updated next week, typically.

Cheers, it's that Deploy guide i used and even the default script within it.

 

However it's a switch / parameter problem i have and i can't find anything apropriate.

This is the 3rd different 'Official' deployment guide.

 

Found the switches there now. I'll give it a go.

Ok, putting /q in the script now, i don't have to add any parameters to the script properties in the GPO do i?

Ok, i seem to have sorted it, but it's not updating older versions by the looks of it.

 

version 3 should be about 15mb, but a lot of machines are only showing up 5mb.

 

/q includes updating doesn't it?
