When/Where is next Conference?

Well I've recovered from BETT and I'm getting withdrawl symptoms of drinking/eating and discussing the relative merits of Android/WM/IPhone (as well as seeing and learning about new kit/software of course ) with new and old fellow Edugeekers

 

Any dates/venues in the offing?

Well, yes in fact. No firm dates as of yet, but we have the following confs and events planned:

 

March - London Grid Network Managers Conf

 

May - EduGeek Northern Conf (Chorley)

 

June - Denver (US) Education Technology Exhibition

 

August - Scottish EduGeek Conf (Edinburgh)

Some of us will be attending the EMBC spring event on 9th March if people fancy meeting up (Loughborough)

Seriously though, if we were to do a far south conf, it would be Devon\Cornwall way, if there was demand that is. And I've seen Straw Dogs too!

The Chorley conf is 1 hour on the train, and you can get a return ticket stupidly cheap. But the best bet is to overnight and get to meet us all in person.

A quicky with the Edinburgh one, can we avoid Exams Results weeks with the date of it please, just thinking if many of us are like our place is, I am needed to be in then in-case the world of Internet / Servers / Serco / PCs etc go boom and we have no results etc and suspect many other members maybe like that as well
