saltydog Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 (edited) I want to report unsuitable content to durhamnet so they can filter it, but can't find a contact number or e mail address for them anywhere. I think it would be easier to find the A Team. Can anyone help? Edited February 1, 2010 by saltydog
AngryITGuy Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Just sent you a PM with contact details, although from past experiences you could be waiting a while before anything is done regarding the issue your having! 1
Edu-IT Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 (edited) I've just spent the past half hour looking and yes, I think a smoke signal is what you send. Edit: Derwentside District Council http://source.domaintools.com/email.pgif?md5=20b1e97cb172a167b450a788ef0a3ae2&face=arial&size=9&color=000000&bgcolor=FFFFFF&face=arial&size=9&color=0000FF&bgcolor=FFFFFF&format[]=underline&format[]=transparent&format[]=transparent County Hall Durham, County Durham DH1 5UL UK +44 300 123 7070 fax: +44 1207 218222 That's what is listed as the admin contact for a school domain in Durham. webman Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 We tried to contact them a few weeks ago but the 01207 phone numbers and website seem to have fallen off the face of the earth. These are the latest info I have... Phone: 01207 218989 Email: helpdesk at derwentside.gov.uk Recent contact: A.East at derwentside.gov.uk
AngryITGuy Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Phone: 01207 218989 Email: helpdesk at derwentside.gov.uk Email address still works ... when I say it works I mean I haven't had any undelivered mail after logging a problem with them, although i am still waiting for a response to my mail Phone number as you mentioned has pretty much fallen off the face of the planet, calling it from my mobile I'm told the number is unobtainable! The last working number I have for them which worked just before Christmas was 01207 693 333. 1
webman Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 @AngryITGuy Yep. If none of the phone lines are working, d'ya reckon the helpdesk staff have been sat there wondering how quiet it is? 1
Sylv3r Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 The last working number I have for them which worked just before Christmas was 01207 693 333. Thats the last number I used a while ago too. We use the [email protected] address and its usually responded too relatively quickly. If I remember correctly before the councils joined together the filtering was governed by someone at ITSS and not Durham .net but I could be wrong, this was from an e-mail I sent October 2006 anyway. 1
