broc Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 If it is anything like a D520, the only answer is to speak to DELL; you will have to prove ownership & then they will talk you through the process to clear the password. At least it was free, which I understand is not the case for other manufacturers .....
round2it Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 ring dell and ask for the master reset code for your machine sometimes you might need to fax them some information but they are pretty quick i have used them a few times
difinity Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 There are some CMOS/BIOS clearing utilities on the UBCD that i have used to clear passwords before.
