This is something that we are aware of, however, some of the suggestions from Channel4 during our discussions have already been - to say the least - interesting. We are still talking to Channel 4 at the moment, and we are seeing what else they can come up with.

Sorry to thread dredge, but are people still having problems playing 4OD content in their schools? For me it's the same as everyone else. Adverts play, and as soon as the content lines up it errors.

Still a problem for us too, basic channel. But if C4 aren't prepared to take it seriously, I'm certainly not going to.

OK, well I'm still going to raise it with Norfolk ICT Shared Services, but being a C4 screw-up it's probably a waste of time. You'd think they'd want to make sure educational establishments could access their content.

Yes, there is *still* an issue with one of the 2 4oD stream providers not coding things right. This has been batted backwards and forwards with C4 and their providers, seems to work for a bit and then gets broken again. It is a recurring agenda item on RBC tech meeting and is still being chased.

 

I'll do a round robin chase on this to see what the latest is.

It's worked once for us, and that's when I tried it for the first time in Chrome. Sometimes is doesn't even play the ads, but it usually gets to the programme sponsor and then quits.
