Sam_Brown Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Has anyone actually seen any screenshots or demos of Moodle 2.0 in action? Info on it seems very scarce.

Unless anyone already has done this?
frosty Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 You are right there are not many demo site out there! What I have done is installed XAMPP on a memory stick and run Moodle 2 on there. That way you can have a poke around and even test your existing Moodle (If you have one?) in the conversion\theme\content etc. It so far it has helped me to pick a few issues I may have when the stable release comes out - just an idea?
Sam_Brown Posted January 18, 2010 Author Posted January 18, 2010 Do you know where I can actually download Moodle 2.0 from?
garethEds Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Moodle.org: Download standard packages At the bottom of the page is a long for Moodle 2.0dev Gareth
secretlife Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Moodle.org has a demo Moodle 2 in operation -which this week will actually have courses on so you can log in as teacher/student/admin to have a play and it is at Moodle QA Testing Site Though I'd still download it myself if I were you. I keep intending to do some screencasts of "what I have learned so far" - I probably will but that annoying thing called work keeps getting in the way! Also -re info -there is loads of info in the planning document Moodle 2.0 Planning (constantly revised)

Unless anyone already has done this? Think I installed a demo the other day. If I have, I'll PM you and then I will arrange access to it for you. Steve
