embc webserver issues addressed

Hello embc-ers

 

embc have informed me that the recent issues with websites being unavailable during the mornings (with parents checking for closures) was due to CPU spikes during this period and has been addressed with the provision of more CPUs to cope with the load and should not happen again.

was it placed on the T2S when it first happened? I've not seen any update on T2S about this issue to be honest:confused:

No. Never been any information about it other than what has been posted on here by other schools.

I did have to complain a fair bit and the LA lent some weight to get that info sent to me.

No such issues here but it's SLOW!

Yeah slow here too, interestingly it appears to take a long time to connect to the website between page transitions, but once connected loads lightening fast. So could be a a connection problem?

 

Edit: seems to intermittent. On the plus side, when it works, the website is much faster than before
