6Foot2 Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Do we take it from this that Edugeek is taking a political stand then?
GrumbleDook Posted January 10, 2010 Author Posted January 10, 2010 Nah ... just thought it was funny that LabourLine have this gadget for silly posters!
mattx Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Just think - an Eton Boy running the country - sends shivers down my spine... Still won't be long. http://i.imagehost.org/0541/worse.jpg
srochford Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Early days yet, but given that Cameron is saying we must cut public spending by a massive amount, I can see the BSF project carrying on but without the buildings - everything which can be outsourced will be and that includes pretty much all support staff in education.
stratisphere Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 oh my, i'd lol at the day when teaching staff try to do *half* the stuff we "support staff" do. They whine when they have to stay behind for a various meetings, let alone having to come in at stupid hours of the day to ensure the network stays up. The whole "teaching", "support" staff thing is rubbish. As our finance guy recently said, with computers playing more and more of a part in everyone's life, it's a surprise ICT staff and budgets get so little.
Midget Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 with buildings and heating playing more and more of a part in everyone's life, it's a surprise maintenance staff and budgets get so little.

Of course it will !! That has and always will be the Tory way - selling off any family silver. The current lot are just as bad even to the level of giving back money from a failed off flog of Rail Track only now to take a majority stake in the banks but still let the oinks who screwed it up first time round still run it !! Being an MP is clearly a job for you if you are incompetent.
sparkeh Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Of course it will !! That has and always will be the Tory way - selling off any family silver. Of course the Labour way is to sell off the family gold
tmcd35 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 (edited) Being an MP is clearly a job for you if you are incompetent. Salaries of Members of the United Kingdom Parliament - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I'm happy to be incompetent for that salary. Where do I sign up? (that's the £64k question (boom boom)). powdarrmonkey Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Nah ... just thought it was funny that LabourLine have this gadget for silly posters! Hmm, good job it escapes single quotes first!
Dos_Box Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 (edited) People should also keep in mind that when the privetisations started in the 80's the industries being sold off were previously in private hands. Many were nationalised during WWII or shortly after due to national emergencies. None were ever created by a govt. Edited January 11, 2010 by Dos_Box 1
OutToLunch Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Hmm, good job it escapes single quotes first! Labour line - avoiding Bobby Tables since 2010?
