chrisredfield93 Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 I was thinking of suggesting a new category in the "Links, Download and Scripts" section one for Portable Applications (Not U3 thou). wondering what people opuion on this. Since I find it rare to come across some and thought it be a good idea. I have got folder on my pc with at least 5 portable products that not including the "Admin bar" which i found pretty good". What are people opuions on this, nice to hear from the admin and mods on this. 1
LeMarchand Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 Not an admin or mod, but I like the idea. My "Portable Apps" collection is around 3.5GB (I probably should trim that...), but like the whole "no install" idea.

SYNACK Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 The best idea may be to add it right into the Wiki, I have set up a section for it here: Software Knowledgebase and added an example to it for easy replication. If you can add in the catagory tag [[Category:Portable Applications]] in each of the articles about each bit it will also make it easier to search through.

I see what tags can think of, others are welcome to state. did you mean like this as categoy tags ?
