DocMAN 1.5 Released

DOCman 1.5 has been released today.

 

Now (only) supports Joomla 1.5 Native Mode

 

There is a small fee now for the product.

Is DocMan a worthy upgrade?

I'd like to know if DocMan is a good idea too. I'm thinking about using it to manage our governor\school policy documents.

I use Phocadownload, I currently have hundreds of documents on my live site and its really powerful.

I've been trialling DocMan and I quite like it. We are looking at producing a support site with different product lines, and DocMan seems to be able to setup groups of users easily. Of course when Joomla 1.6 finally ships I would want to see DocMan integrate with the Joomla ACL bits, rather than maintaining multiple groups of users in different parts of the site.
