We used it in school for a number of years until they got MS office.

They are also going to be selling a cd/dvd burning application which again seems a waste of time.

 

How about setting up a pc with a cd burner at school that has a menu allowing students to create their own disk full of useful free utilities and other software.

 

They just pick what they want shove in a cd when asekd and it burns it for them
