Simcfc73 Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 .... reverse the directions of a serial joystick? I think its for science so they can do some sort of weird Biology experiment but I can't put the write thing into google to find something. The techy was going to rewire the serial but I am not sure if that would work.
SteveBentley Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Can you not do this in the Game Controllers option in Control Panel? There is often (probably dependent on device drivers) a means to reverse the axes.
OutToLunch Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 As long as it shows up in game controllers, even if there's no option to reverse axis you can still do this manually - just go to configure the joystick and when it tells you to push right, push the stick left and vice versa. Windows will happily let left be right and right be left
fafster Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Try rotating the control 180 degrees around the vertical axis.
Arcath Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Try rotating the control 180 degrees around the vertical axis. just about to suggest that is this one of things like where you stick the mouse on its side with a box over it so people cant tell?
mpe Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 .... reverse the directions of a serial joystick? What's a "serial joystick"? The techy was going to rewire the serial but I am not sure if that would work. You'd probaby be better off rewiring the joystick/pad
