Acer Aspire One ZG5 recovery cd needed

Does anyone have a recovery cd/dvd for an acer aspire one netbook it uses linpus lite.

 

piked one up dirt cheap but not recovery cds

 

might clonezilla the drive myself if no one can help

Shoot off to moblin.org and grab Moblin instead - it's a million times better than the Linpus distro and it installs perfectly on the Aspire ONE.

i will have a look at it as soon as i can clone the 8gb ssd in it has anyone cloned one of these with clonezilla or ghost

 

i would like to have a crack at running win xp on some time i know it will be slow but it would be a nice exercise.

I'm not sure where my disk is (and I have a rather poor net connection so uploading it somewhere would be a PITA too)... sorry!

 

EDIT - BTW Moblin runs as a Live distro so you can give it a try before commiting to it.

acers ftp site had an image a while back but it has been removed

 

 

if anyone grabbed it or has a disc i could get a copy would be great..
