Dom_ Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 So, my fiancee just rang me scared out of her wits as the TV in our bedroom is being mental. She woke up and looked at the TV, which had a big ball of light on the screen (TV was turned off), when she looked away the ball shrunk and disappeared. When she looked again the ball appeared and grew again, so she went downstairs (everything else looks ok, other tv's etc so its not something with her eyes) She went back upstairs and the ball appearred again and started growing, so she ran out again and rang me. I rang my dad who was also there, to get him to check it out. When he went in there was nothing on the TV, so he unplugged it from the mains (my fiancee wouldn't even go near it!). He waited a few minutes while i was on the phone and nothing happened so he left the room. I then get a worried call from my fiancee again screaming saying it's just done it again, so my dad went in again and this time saw it (only small though). It isn't a reflection as it does it when the blinds are shut. Any idea's what it could be? It's a 42" samsung plasma TV (i have a 32" samsung plasma next to it, and that one is fine). I've googled a bit but there's nothing about! Cheers, Dom

I did read about a woman who could not go near or touch anything electric as it would break, it said that when she went near a tv it would go all fuzzy.
Dom_ Posted November 20, 2009 Author Posted November 20, 2009 My dad saw it too though, it's never been an issue before and we've had the tv for about 7 months (nothing's changed regarding layout) She also said it doesn't matter how close she is to it, it just seems to happen when she looks at it!
leon999uk Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 it just sounds really spooky, i mean for it not to happen when your dad is there but as soon as your fiancee it goes all funny. maybe get her to see if it happens agin with only her in the room...

I have friends who live about a mile away from one of the naval dockyards and sometime their light bulbs will glow for short periods when switched off!! Only seen in a darkened room at night. Turns out this happens when one of the ships has it's radar running. Just a thought M

Just a thought M Or near a high powered radio or TV transmitter - legend has it that if put the prongs on one end of a flourescent tube into the ground in the fields surrounding Emley Moor it glows eerily.
