IPhone & Google Calendar Push

Well silly question can you set the Iphone to have google calendar push it contents as per here

But have mail disabled.

 

As got mail disabled but then seems like calendar does not push unless mail enabled.

I have this set up on my iPod and I assume its the same. I get calendar items pushed to my iPod without my mail setup. Haven't got it on me to check the settings but I just followed that guide you linked to and it worked.

Think found problem seems to only pull your main calendar down I have several calendars setup..

Ah right yes you have to select the calendars you want to sync beyond the default one.
