Nottinghamshire IT Network Managers Meeting

Hi All,

 

I saw the post regarding Nothants, so was wondering if there's anything in place within Nottinghamshire? If not, would anyone be interested in having a meeting with as many Nottinghamshire Network Managers as we can get (and possibly persons from County Hall if they are willing)? If so, I'll start to see if we can make arrangements.

To be honest I'd like to come to it ... I keep threatening to come to the Derbyshire ones.

 

I would honestly like to see what goes on in other areas to keep things fresh and improving down here.

What do these meeting do? Do we just swap ideas? Not really sure if it’s a good idea or not as I have no idea what the meting would be for.

I would hope the aim to not only be sharing ideas, but, if we can get the LA there, to find out what's happening with LA services, and hopefully so we can give feedback to the LA. If we can group together with our concerns about LA services, or our compliments on them, there may be a greater response from the LA than just individual NMs making comments.

To let everyone know, I sent an email out to all secondary school offices, so thanks to those who have responded, if you haven't seen it, have a word with your office staff or PM me! I've had a good number of replies so far, and will start to trawl through possible dates when I get back off Honeymoon in the new year (too much to do before then). Guys from other counties, I'll let you know about any meetings as and when (we may keep the 1st one or two closed so that we can discuss our position with the LA).
