Room Booking Software

Hi All:)

 

we have alot of problems with teachers booking ICT rooms, I.E. clashies of room bookings or people expecting to have room on the day with out asking to book a room.

 

do you guys have any idea or software we could use to book/log room booking?

Google "MRBS" or "CRBS" both are very good at there jobs. CRBS with a bit of devolpment work will be better but currently MRBS is the peoples choice I beleive.

This topic comes up a lot - a quick search of the forums will return lots of results

 

There are some free and open-source web-based systems available - take a look at MRBS and Classroombookings (my own system).

 

There are also paid-for solutions which IMO are a rip-off, such as Free Period and Room Booking System.

 

I'm currently working very hard on a new version of CRBS which will will hopefully be released some time early next year.

The school I attended used BookIT by CaRob Computing, there also seems to be another application by the same name that does a similar thing available here.
