Xenserver P2V

Anyone used this with a Windows server? On the Citrix site it mentions that a third party tool is required but the link is dead.

I've found it now thanks it's not easy to find, I wonder why it's not on the 5.5 media.

Really? I thought you could use Xenconvert in Xenserver 5.0, well that makes sence then.

Well that worked well, only a couple of errors when it came back up on the Xenserver due to it installing SCSI drivers but it's running well now.

I was referring to the part of the post that mentioned

XenServer XenConvert 2.0.2

 

I believe Version 2.0.2 was not written when Xenserver 5.5 came out.

If you want resizing ability, check out the XenConvert 2.1 tech preview. Otherwise it's easier to use imagex and restore the .wim to a freshly created vm.
