Two jobs available, starting Dec 09 or Jan 10.

 

Network Manager

 

Required for December 2009/January 2010, an experienced and well qualified Network Manager. You will have technical knowledge across a range of Microsoft Operating Systems software, including Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 Server, Active Directory, ISA server, MS Exchange Server, Windows XP Professional, MS Office + Backup and security Knowledge. You should be an excellent communicator and able to discuss technical issues in a way that will be understood by non technical individuals. You will have experience of leading ICT in a complex organisation, but also have hands-on experience of upgrades, problem diagnosis and resolution.

 

Current MCSE qualifications would be advantageous.

 

Salary: In the region of £30,000 (Full-Time) according to experience.

 

ICT Technician

Required for January 2010, an ICT Technician to assist our Network Manager in maintaining high quality learning facilities. This is a multi-disciplinary role that will primarily provide ICT support, including preparation, and maintenance of ICT resources and support to staff and pupils. In addition you will also support the school Intranet/MIS and provide multimedia support. A Diploma/Degree in Computing or experience in working in a similar role is highly desirable. You should be able to work comfortably in a school environment and be able to identify with teacher's needs.
