Anyone using a Fujitsu Quickscan or got a paperless office? HT just came back from a meeting saying he want a paperless office and heard Fujitsu made a good scanner  Edited by Jobos

Haha, good luck on that one. We have a few HP Scanjet 7650's around the school using Callisto Managed Scan (it inputs into SIMS.net). Eventually, I may look into buying a more useful solution that allows scanning into Sharepoint too.

A full document management system is a beautiful idea, but implementing it, in a school, would be like pulling teeth. Not a task I'd ever look forward to really...

Also, remember that document feeding scanners cost a fair amount of money too. ie. £400+

I work at an insurance company in Iowa, USA that uses the software suite called Paperwise. It intrgrates with alot of different software applications and sounds like what you would be looking for.

Paperwise also does scanning with those Fujitsu scanners.

let me know if you have any questions and i can try and help.

I have to laugh. They've been banding that term about since the 70's and so far it hasn't happened so for the HT to add it to your "to-do" list is just pure comedy.
