Ric_ Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 We run a two week timetable. Last year, the days appeared as Mon1, Tue1..... Mon2, Tue2, etc. The problem we have this year is that in SIMS.net the Days just appear as Mon, Tue, etc. In Nova-T they are as they were last year! I believe that this had led to the BIG problem where by the timetable will not apply correctly in SIMS.net. Every week is week one at the moment This is a big problem because the student timetables in SIMS.net appear incorrectly and the timetable export to our registration system has exported week 1 to every week. Does anyone have a clue where to change the names of the days?
CAM Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Errr hmm, Nova-T6? This program is hard to use when in front of it let alone long distance and none of my notes. I'm assuming SIMS.net is showing the wrong days and Nova is correct? There was something mentioned in my helpsheets about Apply Timetable and two week timetables and I'll take a gander if I get some free time on Monday.
CAM Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Found some info at home. Did you leave the "Fixed Week" box checked when you exported from Nova to SIMS? Also remember to apply the timetable in SIMS by going to tools -> Academic Structure -> Apply Timetable. BEWARE! As exporting the timetable from Nova to SIMS over already existing dates will wipe out attendance and marksheet grades so always apply to dates in the future!
