How do i tell our domain machines to use only certain drive letter for usb sticks?

Must admit I'm not sure how to deploy it as I don't personally use it, mainly because I have lots of machines with memory card readers in where all sorts of different drive letters are in use, so I just let them pick the first available one when they plug them in at my school.

I've deployed the msi and then thrown out the correct ini with group policy... ps lovin the new server 2008 GP possibilities:drunken_smilie:

Is that it then. Down load there msi deploy msi then add the custom ini in the 2008 gpo. I'll give that ago.

in a word ......... YUP

 

As long as users ( students, teachers etc ) dont have access rights to modify those files the ini and program / service then it should be fine
