I'd seriously consider getting headphones without microphones unless you have a real need for them, I see far too many pupils with the mics in their mouths sucking on the end. I've also found that the mic arm is one of the more common things to break first

Try CPC Farnell - they have a large range of headphones. In the past we have spent £15 - £20 + on headphones and they still don't last. I am planning on buying the very cheap headphones that can be thrown away once broken (pupils could have a pair each).

Similar experience here. Bought the cheapest and treat them as throwaway items.

 

Another idea is to buy a whole load of in-ear cheapish ones and sell them to students for £1 or something so they all have their own with them.
