I'm a bit concerned about virtualisation host servers (the servers that you need as stable and secure as possible, since they're the building blocks for everything above them) having their control method (and so connecting to) on a third-party (Shavlik) external web app.

 

I mean, security issues of letting them talk to the outside world aside, "I can't do $foo with vmware because $rbc have broken something" is sure to turn up as a topic on here. :)

Buy a proper licence :)

 

Yeah i'm not keen on using an online web service for this. I'll stick with the vsphere client.
