craigg Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Can anyone shed any light on deploying this with GPO? We have a standard W2k3 network with XP workstations.. Thanks guys
DrPerceptron Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Have you had a look over at appdeploy? CorelDraw I think is similar to CS3/4... XML files...
craigg Posted August 27, 2009 Author Posted August 27, 2009 I didnt even think about appdeploy. Thanks for that! Ill give it a go. I was thinking maybe building a script to pull down a quiet install on logon. I'll post back with results
DrPerceptron Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 You can still install applications via scripts etc at bootup, just put them in the startup scripts area and make sure you increase the timeout period for scripts (10 minutes by default)
pritchardavid Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 if you still having problems i tried many ways of deploying this loads of install repackers, watchers, mst files no luck dont waste your time just a script or send a command line down to the computers if you have the correct tool
cookie_monster Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 I also failed to get this to package and deploy via MSI, I ended up creating a silent install so all I do is connect to the share double click the exe and it installes. This way could be scripted as well but as it's only in one room I didn't bother. 1
gwendes Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Sorry to dredge up an old thread - do you remember how you created the silent installer?
TronXP Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 http://www.corel.com/support/deployment_guides/coreldraw-graphics-suite-x6-deployment-guide.pdf Creating a server image part basically makes your silent install. We never got it to deploy correctly, so we do as cookie_monster and install from a share. 1
