Laptop trolley protection

We have a number of Lapsafe trolleys at the school - and with just moving into a new building I want to protect the trolley edges to help stop scraping doors / walls etc.

 

I'm looking at getting foam protection strips for the edges, something like: The Packaging Store: Foam L-Profile Edge Protection but I can't seem to find any in low quantities... does anyone else have any ideas, and if you also protect your trolley edges, what do you use?

some sort of foam pipe insulation or decorative coving from a diy store may do

Bit creative but may not look the best.

 

But could you not use a DVD case opened and stuck onto the vertical corner of the lapsafe (2 on each corner should do)? could even put in a school logo/lapsafe number into the sleve
