Marvintpa Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 We have moved from Exchange 2003 to 2007 and have a few issues with the moving of the mailboxes. Suffice it to say I need to mass edit the ADSI object msExchHomeServer on 1100 users Does anyone know of an easier way then to use adsiedit and do each one individually? Heres hoping.
SYNACK Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 If not you'll need to do it with ADSI scripting.
Marvintpa Posted August 12, 2009 Author Posted August 12, 2009 could it possibly be done with LDIFDE.exe?
spc-rocket Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Admodfiy might do it Yes the Admodify utility should be able to do this, its brilliant. Ash.
Marvintpa Posted August 12, 2009 Author Posted August 12, 2009 Then I am being a dork brain .... (:)please dont repeat that to anyone:)) All i can see in the admodify program under exchange is set homeMTA, set homeDB, set msExchUseOAB and Set msExchQueryBaseDN I want to change / set msExchHomeServer ??
SYNACK Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 This may help: Modifying homeMDB & msexchhomeserver attribute : msexchhomeserver, homemdb You can use the command line mode of admodify to batch this out. To run against a specific OU, you would use this command: admodcmd -dn DNOfOU -custom homeMDB "New HomeMDB Value Here" and so forth for msexchHomeServerName and homeMTA. Usage: Introduction to ADModify.net Download: ADModify.NET - Home
