Adobe CS3 Error - Gateway 0.0.0.0 **SOLVED**

Discovered our first big problem with our Win 7 image today.

Environment: Win 7 Pro with Office 2k7, Vis Stud 2008 and Adobe CS3.

Symptons: When booting the machine, the network appears to be unresponsive, upon investigation, the gateway given by DHCP appears to be 0.0.0.0

Cause: Adobe CS3 installs the "Bonjour Service" which seems to cause some confusion with Windows DHCP client when getting an IP address.

Resolution: Disable the Bonjour Service, NOTE: For some reason its not always clear that its the bonjour service, its sometimes called

Hope this helps

Interesting that it's actually interfering with normal operations - I've been disabling this by policy for months simply because I disagree with having networking protocols running that are of no use to me. Also, I had always assumed it was being installed by Quicktime rather than CS3 (which we also use).
