mossj Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 (edited) Ted: Look at Classroombookings it's webmans site for it. Ben looks nice and shiny but lacking of certain crutial features when comparing to mrbs p.s I have it installed on a subdomain you can have a nosey through if you want (im not even remotly intrested in it, in its current state) http://bookit.ashlawn.org.uk <- CRBS system (cr8p, buggy, horrible) http://booking.ashlawn.org.uk <- MRBS system (lovelys, appart from showing everyone the details (but i can sort that)) will give you the test logons for the crbs in private message. if you like. webman Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Thanks for your feedback mossj. linkazoid: Version 2 coming along nicely thanks.
mossj Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 (edited) Oh bugger didn't relize it was your baby, theres only a few features it misses and then it would be the dogs. Unfortunatly despite all the nice shinyness and extra features, it just lacks one or two of the deal breakers (purely display/sorting/repeating options) (for me at least). would be happy to send you what i think its missing if you like and some of the fixes/bugs i found Edited March 16, 2009 by mossj
webman Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Feel free to post suggestions/issues on the tracking page. As you can see from that list, there are lots of improvements in the pipeline.
MK-2 Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 webman: is there any ETA on V2? I really like that layout but would need to use it on Windows with AD integration. I don't need any fantastic features, it would only be a weeekly timetable, with 2 or 3 rooms, is there a win32 version of v2 i could use and test or is it still in production? cheers Mike
webman Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 It's still in development - working backwards from user auth, years/terms through to rooms etc and the booking part hasn't been started yet. I haven't tested on IIS yet, but it works under Apache (WAMP) on Windows and connects to AD/LDAP fine.
TheScarfedOne Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 Thumbs up for Webmans system here - version 1 does what it says on the tin. Version 2 looks awesome... cant wait to get my hands on it!
edwardsouthall Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Hi, I've installed Webman's CRBS and its just right for our school. The only small problem i'm having is a php error showing on the page when you're during a holiday period and looking to be taken to the first week back. The link is still there to go to the first week but the error message is annoying. The error is: Severity: Notice Message: Undefined index: direction Filename: models/bookings_model.php Line Number: 282 I've set display errors to off in the php.ini file and on the wamp settings, but it still shows... Anyone got any ideas?? Thanks Ted
