More monitors.

Currently, im running a GFX with dual outputs, i bought this solely for the fact that i want dual monitors, anyway, my machine doesn't have slots for more gfx cards, is there any other ways i can get say a third or even 4th monitor for my machine, any ideas would be helpful.

I know on some boards, if you have On-Board Graphics you can activate that as well as the ofboard graphics giving you another port for a third monitor.

 

I have done this once in the past, and it worked fine.

Would a video splitter like contraption work perhaps?

I'm using LG Flatron L206WU Monitors, they are USB and you can add up to 8.

I wouldn't recommend them for video or games, but for remote desktops/browsing etc they are fine. I'm able to view a feed from an IP Camera at about 20fps without any lag.

You can use as many as you can cram into the machine.

Yup PCI cards will do the trick but only thing to watch is drivers, XP didn't like me mixing and matching different chipsets very much
