Hi folks,

I just stumbled upon a brilliant photography course from the Moodle site, which got me thinking about others I could download to have some resources already on there for when staff start to use it.

I know Moodle offer a 'library' of courses that can be downloaded, but not many of them are aimed at schools directly. So my proposition is this:

Why not start a Moodle courses library here where people can upload their Moodle course so others can make use of them. Share and share alike.

The subjects I can offer up are Music & Key Skills (these are the only two subjects we actively use Moodle for at the minute).

Any thoughts?

We have courses in most subjects. I can ask heads of department about sharing course information.

Would be very interested in sharing questions that are used in quizes, we also use the questionaires for feedback.

So would be very interested ina any schools that are will share questions, quizes, questionaires etc as well as courses/topics.

This is a great idea. The problem is likely to be that many (most?) courses include in places material that is covered by copyright - and this is what makes distribution difficult...

I would be happy to share what I have done but everything I have includes copyright material of some sort be it exam papers, worksheets, ppts etc...

If you want to do this then make sure that you make good use of Creative Commons to keep it attributable, non-commercial, etc ... some schools will balk at this, but it is important.

What this is....

This is a place to:

* Look for examples of Moodle course and modules that you can use in your Moodle site.

* Share the courses you have made with Moodle.

* Share glossaries, databases, Scorm packages, quizzes and other things that you have developed to help with your Moodle implementation.

* Share websites that also have course exchanges available.
