contink Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Following the nightmare with the server that decided to "lose" its Virtual Disk configuration I've decided I'm not about to wait for the second bite to take what little is left of my behind. So, can anyone recommend any SATAII/300 RAID cards capable of RAID 0,1,1+0,5 and possibly 6 that have a decent recovery opportunity in place even if the card itself hits the skids. It would need to be able to 100% compatible with an Intel S5000VSA motherboard... Budget wise I'm looking at around £250 max, but if compelling reasons can be provided for more I'll definitely listen! Cheers all...

It should not matter that it is an hp unit it should still work with your existing board but I have sent an email off to hp to double check that they have not added any limitations that would stop it from working in a non-hp box. 1
