In the past we've have reasonable success with packages for the CanonScan LiDE ranges, these have been created on an RM Network using their packaging software which is basically Winstall LE. I can see no obvious reason why any driver and software shouldn't be packaged sucessfully.

 

Maybe you would be better off asking which scanners people have been unable to package successfully.

 

Later on this afternoon I'll be trying to package up the drivers for the CanonScan LiDE 100 (nice scanner, USB powered), I'll let you know how I get on.

Well, the packaging went smoothly, once we have an opportunity to test if it works I'll post the results, we have one more scanner left to be pressed into use and so it'll probably be over the next couple of days.
