kmount Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Director of ICT tends to be more wide grasp than the Network Manager role encompassing curricular whole school achievements more than service provision. A varied role if the right team exists.
GrumbleDook Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Director of IT is often on the Leadership Team too, needs to understand T&L, govt strategies, gets involved with research, external agencies (SSAT / Becta / LA / etc) and so on ... A fun role and hard work.
