apoth0r Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 (edited) Right ladies and gentlemen of the 'geek. Does anyone have any contacts within the Promethean circles that can quote me a few prices for the Promethean ActivBoard+2 and installation. Need 4 quotes ideally, Activeboard+2 Fixed height 64" + installation Activeboard+2 Fixed height 78" + installation Activeboard+2 Adjustable height 64" + installation Activeboard+2 Adjustable height 78" + installation edit: We are now looking for quotes for the board without installation so please feel free to post here/email me/pm me regarding quotes for the above. Many thanks Steve Pothecary Unity College Northants Edited June 12, 2009 by apoth0r without installation
Sylv3r Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 Your maybes not aware but Promethean only sell through resellers now and not direct. They should be quite a few companies that are Promethean resellers around - I am sure some of the sponsors on here will be able to help you out.
apoth0r Posted June 13, 2009 Author Posted June 13, 2009 Yeah that's what I've been waiting for ;-) Got a few quotes so far, hoping to find that magic price from one of the 'geeks suppliers. Quote me happy!
Steven_Cleaver Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 I have always found a company called Computer Village (now part of RTL)RFL Computer Village very reasonably priced if you contact Mathew Creed and give him my name (Steven Cleaver) he will sort you out with a quote.I have dealt with them for four years now and they have never let me down. Their install service is also very good no moans (although you are not looking for this) about extra electrical sockets or things being taken off walls etc. extremely helpful nothing to much trouble, they are also happy to fit round school hours or work late to get jobs done.
Jamman960 Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 keep in mind that promethean only offer warrantees with Activ+2 boards that have been installed by qualified installers(I presume thats why your after board only prices) Also the fixed height boards are just ActivBoards, the +2 bit means its the adjustable type.
