It's that patch time of the month again! Here are the revised update packs for June 2009:

 

Logistix Post XP SP3 Update Pack (June 2009)

 

Contains:

Internet Explorer 8

Media Player 11

All Post XP SP3 Hotfixes (including June Hotfixes)

Logistix Microsoft .NET Framework Pack (No Changes since April 2009)

 

Includes .NET Framework 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5 and Service Packs + Post Updates

 

Logistix Office 2007 Compatibility Plus Pack (Updated June 2009)

 

Contains the Office 2007 Compatibility Pack + SP2 + Hotfixes and Microsoft Works 6 - 9 Viewer.

 

Logistix Plugins Plus Pack (Updated June 2009)

 

Contains Adobe Flash 10.0.22.87, Adobe Shockwave 11.5.0.596, Adobe Reader 9.1.1, Java 6 Update 13, Quicktime Alternative 2.90 and Real Alternative 1.90.

 

Logistix Microsoft Office Viewers Update Pack (Updated June 2009)

 

Includes Microsoft Word 2003, Excel 2003 and PowerPoint 2003 Viewers, post Hotfixes and the Office 2007 Compatibility Pack SP2. Ideal for systems without Microsoft Office installed.

Doh! One day after I gave up on trying to get Google Earth to install through our proxy and rolled out my new desktop images without it Thanks as always - these make life much less painful for those of us still stuck in 512k land.

Another update folks. Those nice people at Adobe have just released an update to Adobe Reader 9, taking it upto 9.1.2. It fixes 13 vulnerabilities

 

Java 6 Update 14 has also been released. The interesting facts about this version, is that it officially supports IE8 and Windows 7. Useful for those Windows 7 testers out there.

 

All this is available in an updated Logistix Plugins Plus Pack (Updated June 2009, Revision 2)

Argh, just got in a mess with what I've saved where - any chance of MD5s/filesizes for the current packs? Downloaded the updated plugins and put it somewhere other than the one I downloaded yesterday which I put somewhere other than the older plugins pack which... etc. Doh!

 

PS - If possible, the month last updated tagged on the end of the filename for all the downloads not just the XP updates pack would be very handy for idiots like me!

All the other packs are current. If you download the Logistix Plugins Plus Pack again, when you initially double click the file, towards the end of the paragraph you have the version. In this case I have named it "June 2009, Revision 2"

 

All the others, (apart from the .NET Framework Pack) will have June 2009 at the end of the paragraph. Hope this helps.

an update to Adobe Reader 9

 

That's their very first quarterly patch Tuesday in action then. It's useful to know when these things are coming, all we need is the rest of the Adobe stuff in sync.
